Started by Business Owners. Run by Business Owners.

We’re not a corporation. We’re not a government agency. We’re business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs who came together because we believe small business is worth fighting for.

A rising tide lifts all ships.

We Built This Because We Had To

Let’s be honest. Small town businesses are under attack.

Not by any single enemy, but by a system that treats our communities as nothing more than a commodity. Corporations move in, extract what they can, and move on. They don’t care about the families who built these towns. They don’t care about the business owners who stayed when things got hard. They don’t care about the communities we call home.

We’re not against free markets. We believe in them. But we’re frustrated. Frustrated that the political class doesn’t show up for small business. Frustrated that the deck is stacked against the people who take the real risks. Frustrated that we’ve been left to figure it out on our own.

So we stopped waiting for someone else to help.

We built TriCountyBusiness.org because we believe small business owners shouldn’t have to fight alone. We believe that when we work together, when we support each other, refer each other, and stand up for each other, we can revitalize our communities from the inside out.

Nobody is coming to save us. So we’re saving each other.

Nobody is coming to save us. So we're saving each other.

Our Beliefs

We believe small business is the backbone of our communities. Not corporations. Not government programs. Small business owners are the ones who take the risks, create the jobs, and show up every day.

We believe a rising tide lifts all ships. When one of us wins, we all win. When one of us struggles, we show up. We don’t compete with each other, we complete each other.

We believe in putting others first. This organization isn’t about what we can get. It’s about what we can give. We lead with service because that’s how real communities are built.

We believe in the power of working together. Alone, we’re easy to ignore. Together, we have a voice. Together, we have power. Together, we can rebuild what’s been lost.

We believe our communities are worth fighting for. The towns we live in aren’t just places on a map. They’re our homes. Our neighbors. Our families. And they deserve business owners who care about more than the bottom line.

When one of us wins, we all win.

Who We Are

We're Business Owners Just Like You

TriCountyBusiness.org wasn’t started by politicians or executives in some distant boardroom. It was started by people like you, business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs who live and work right here in Levy, Citrus, and Marion counties.

We know what it’s like to wear every hat. To lie awake at night worrying about payroll. To wonder if anyone really understands what we’re going through. We’ve been there. We’re still there.

That’s exactly why we built this.

We wanted an organization where business owners could be honest with each other. Where we could share what’s working and what’s not. Where we could ask for help without feeling judged. Where we could find people who actually get it.

This isn’t a networking group where you hand out business cards and hope for the best. This is a community of people who are committed to helping each other succeed, not because there’s something in it for us, but because we believe that’s how it should be.

Built to support. Here to help.

Our Mission

To create a community of like-minded business owners united by a single goal: putting others first.

We exist to support small business in Levy, Citrus, and Marion counties through advocacy, education, connection, and promotion. We believe that when small business thrives, our communities thrive. And we’re committed to doing everything we can to make that happen.

What that looks like:

  • We advocate for small business at the local, state, and federal level
  • We provide training, support, and resources to help members grow
  • We promote our members and help them get seen
  • We connect business owners who can help each other
  • We show up when our members need us

No corporate agenda. No political games. Just business owners helping business owners.

Small business is worth fighting for.

What We're Building Toward

We’re not just trying to help businesses survive. We’re trying to help our communities thrive.

Stronger Local Economies When small businesses succeed, money stays in our communities. Jobs stay local. Families stay rooted. That’s the economy we’re building.

A Louder Voice Right now, small business doesn’t have a seat at the table. We’re changing that. The more we grow, the harder we are to ignore.

A Model for Other Communities What we’re building here can be replicated. We want to show other small towns that they don’t have to wait for someone to save them. They can save each other.

A Legacy Worth Leaving We want to hand our kids and grandkids communities that are thriving—not hollowed out. That starts with what we do today.

"The best way to predict the future is to create it." — Peter Drucker
